【独居老人不敌病魔， 孤独离世】
李修胜先生（70岁）多年来一直都是独居人士，没有孩子亲人。小时候，他就开始患上了哮喘，因此多年来肺部健康也没有很好，而且经常出现频繁咳嗽的情况。后来，由于在几年前曾经患上新冠肺炎，他的身体状况更是不乐观。
在前阵子，他再一次患上了肺炎，无奈因为经济状况不好，加上本身没有交通，一时想法错误的他为了节省开销就决定不看医生，继续留在家仅仅多喝水，和吃一些之前所剩的感冒药而已。最终，因为身边没有任何人关心和照顾他，他的病况后来也越来越严重，甚至后来不敌病魔，离开了这个世界。
英雄医疗慈善协会在了解这位往生者的背景后，于是决定先为他处理身后事的同时，也尝试替他寻找任何可能认识他的亲人或朋友帮忙处理身后事。然而，过了将近一个月，我们却没有办法找到任何相关人士。最终，在没办法的情况下，我们唯有为他举办施棺众筹，以便解决他的身后事费用。
在此，愿各界热心人士能伸出援手，随缘乐捐、布施棺木丧礼给予这位往生者，完成逝者人生最后的旅途，让其圆满身后事并得到安息、早登极乐。

Coffin & Funeral Case No 1048：
【The Solitary Elder Succumbs To Illness And Passed Away】
Mr. Lee Siu Heng (70 years old), a long-time solitary individual with no family, has struggled with asthma since childhood. Over the years, his respiratory health has deteriorated, marked by frequent bouts of coughing. Moreover, his physical condition became even more negative after contracting COVID-19 a few years ago.
Recently, he contracted pneumonia again. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and the lack of transportation, he made the misguided decision to save expenses by not seeking medical attention. He opted to stay at home, only drinking water and relying on leftover flu medication. As time passed, his health deteriorated further. With no one around to care for him, his condition worsened and finally passed away.
After learning of Mr. Lee’s situation, Hero Medical Charity Society decided to deal with his funeral and coffin event, and also tried to find any relatives or friends who might know him to help deal with his case. However, after a month, we have not been able to find anyone. In the end, when there was no other way, we had to organize crowdfunding for his coffin in order to solve the costs of his funeral.
We implore everyone to lend a helping hand to the late Mr Lee, donate for the funeral and coffin, to complete the last journey of his life, and wish him rest in peace.
