Coffin & Funeral Case No 1026:
Than Zaw Oo (35 y/o) is a labour worker from Myanmar. A month ago, he came to Seremban in Malaysia to work. Originally full of ideals and hopes, he planned to work hard here from now on. However, he caught the novel coronavirus and passed away.
In fact, his life in Myanmar was very hard before he came to Malaysia. He didn’t have any family and formal education, so his level of knowledge was not very high, and he was often cheated and suppressed by others. He thought that he met a kind person who could help him come to Malaysia to live a stable and working life, but did not expect that the person brought him into Malaysia in an illegal way. Therefore, he was arrested by the police after a short time in Malaysia, and at this time he realized that he was an “illegal migrant worker”.
Fortunately, the police finally got to the bottom of what happened and decided to arrange for him to go back to Myanmar. However, perhaps because of the poor sanitation conditions he lived in before, police detention and various unpleasant incidents, he unfortunately contracted a severe novel coronavirus pneumonia, and he could not resist the disease and died on his way back to Myanmar.
According to the source, Than Zaw Oo was hopeful and grateful after released by the police and planned to go back to hometown to try to work hard for his future. However, it was not expected that he would not be able to return to the place where he grew up and leave this world with regrets.
Than Zaw Oo doesn’t have many friends and financial means in Malaysia. Hence, our Hero Medical Charity Society (HMCS) decided to crowdfund for him and assist in the completion of his funeral. We implore all kind-hearted people to lend a helping hand to the late Than Zaw Oo, donate for the funeral and coffin, to complete the last journey of his life, and wish him rest in peace.

Than Zaw Oo （35岁）是一名来自缅甸的外劳。 一个月前，他来到马来西亚的芙蓉工作。原本充满理想和希望的他打算从此在这里努力打拼，然而他却不幸患上了新冠肺炎，从此离开了这个世界。
其实，在他抵达马来西亚之前，他在缅甸的生活过得十分困苦。他没有任何的家人，也没有受过正式的教育，因此他的知识水平不是很高，经常被人欺骗和打压。他原本以为遇到好心人士可以帮助他进来马来西亚过上工作稳定的生活，却没料到对方是以不合法的方式带他入国，因此他在马来西亚没多久后就被警方调查扣留，而这时候的他才意识到自己原来是一名“非法外劳”。伤心绝望的他唯有日夜呆在扣留所等候警方的调查和发落。
所幸的是，警方最终也调查得出事情的真相，并决定安排他回去缅甸，不再逮捕扣留他。然而天意弄人，也许之前因为他居住的环境卫生条件不好，加上遇到警察扣留和各种不如意的事情，他不幸患上了严重的新冠肺炎，并且在他准备回去缅甸的车程中，抵挡不住病魔去世了。
据知情人士透露，被警察释放后的Than Zaw Oo原本还充满希望和乐观的心态计划着回国努力生活，并且还很感恩地认为自己度过了这个难关，却没料到他最终还是无法回到自己成长的地方，抱着遗憾离开了这个世界。
Than Zaw Oo在马来西亚朋友不多，经济能力也不好，因此我们英雄医疗慈善协会（HMCS）在得知他这件事情后决定为他众筹并完成他最后的身后事。愿各界热心人士能伸出援手，随缘乐捐、布施棺木丧礼给予这位往生者，完成逝者人生最后的旅途，让其圆满身后事并得到安息、早登极乐。
