Mr Wong Weng Yew (50 y/o, Diabetic Nephropathy Patient)

Mr Wong, a former professional automotive mechanic, saw a promising future dimmed by the unfortunate onset of diabetes, leading to the necessity of foot amputation surgery. Initially, he only required for toe amputation, but his condition deteriorated uncontrollably. Ultimately, he had to amputate his entire left foot.
Despite losing his entire left foot, Mr Wong persevered diligently to sustain himself through work, relying on no one but himself. Unfortunately, the late-stage complications of diabetes caused his kidneys to fail, necessitating long-term dialysis to replace their function. Now, he need to undergoes treatment at the dialysis center every other day.
Due to the prolonged need for dialysis and the weakened physical condition it entails, Mr Wong is unable to work for a living. Ultimately, he finds himself unable to afford his living expenses. Ultimately, in a state of extreme helplessness, Mr Wong turns to Hero Medical Charity Society (HMCS) for assistance.

黄永耀先生（50岁，糖尿病&肾病患者）
详情：
黄先生曾经是一名专业的汽车维修人员。原本前途一片美好的他却不幸患上了糖尿病，必须执行脚部切除手术。一开始的时候，他仅仅只是需要切除脚趾头，但病情却不受控地恶化下去。最终，他必须切除整只左脚保命。
尽管失去了整只左脚，但当时候的黄先生却依然坚强努力地继续工作养活自己，从不靠别人。可惜事与愿违，上天仿佛和他开了个玩笑。由于糖尿病的后期副作用，他的肾功能开始失效，导致后来他必须长期进行洗肾来替代肾脏的功能。如今，他每隔一天都要到洗肾中心进行治疗。
由于长期需要洗肾，加上洗肾的身体状况特别虚弱，黄先生根本无法工作养活自己。因此，在这样的情况下，他开始无法负担自己的生活开销。最终，在极度无助的情况下，黄先生唯有求助我们英雄医疗慈善协会 (HMCS) 。
