【男子患上罕见疾病，祈求大众帮助】

郭炳文先生 (39岁, 脊椎性肌萎缩症患者)
患上罕见的脊椎性肌萎缩症(SMA)的郭炳文先生是一名OKU，目前居住在吉隆坡的增江新村。在童年时期，尽管他身体状况和其他小朋友相比起来没那么健全，但当时的他仍然可以自由移动，拥有基本的行动能力。然而大约从13岁开始，他的身体慢慢出现了恶化，行动能力也越来越不好，甚至后来演变到如今无法移动的状况。现在的他需要别人帮忙抬动，喂他吃饭喝水，洗澡上厕所等等。行动不便的他，也需要特殊的交通工具载送去治疗。
炳文的父母在10多年前已离婚分居。从小炳文就和同样有身体障碍问题的哥哥由父亲照顾到大，可是在大约10多年前的时候，哥哥患病去世，提早离开了他们。父亲也在2年多前的MCO患上新冠肺炎去世。如今，炳文就和伯伯住在一起，而母亲却多年来未曾探望过他。
由于患上这个罕见疾病的原因，加上以往的教育系统没现在那么进步，因此炳文从小到大都没受过正式的教育，也没有能力去特殊学校学习。多年以来，除了小时候父亲的亲自教导以外，他就没受过其他方面的教育了。直到长大后，网络科技开始发达，他才依靠网络去学习新知识，甚至是努力去寻找治疗他这个罕见疾病的各种资讯，一直坚强地努力对抗病魔，不轻易放弃。
然而，由于自己的身体状况真的没有能力工作，加上各种生活和医疗的开销也非常巨大，并且目前相依为命的大伯也年事已高，体力逐渐虚弱，因此一向独立坚强和上进的他也开始担忧和无奈了。最终，在毫无办法的情况下，他唯有委托我们英雄医疗慈善协会Hero Medical Charity Society (HMCS) 向大众招募以下费用：-

✅ 治疗开销 (护工/升降Van车载送)
RM2120 x 6 = RM12720
✅ 生活开销 (RM600/月)
RM600 x 6 = RM3600

【Man suffering from a rare disease and asks public for help】

Ker Ping Boon (39 years old, unemployed)
Mr Ker, an OKU who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), is currently living in Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur. During his childhood, although his physical condition was not as healthy as that of other children, he was still able to move freely and had basic mobility. However, from about the age of 13, his body slowly began to deteriorate, and his mobility became worse and worse, and he even became unable to move today. Now he needs someone to help to lift him, feed him, take a bath, go to the toilet and so on. He has limited mobility and needs special transportation to be taken to treatment.
Ping Boon’s parents divorced more than 10 years ago. During childhood, Ping Boon and his brother, who also had physical problems, were taken care of by their father until they grew up. However, his brother died of illness and left them early 10 years ago. Their father also died of COVID-19 when two years ago. Today, Ping Boon lives with his uncle. Unfortunately, his mother still never visited him for many years.
Because of his illness, and because the education system in the past was not as progressive as it is now, Ping Boon grew up without formal education and was unable to go to school. For many years he had received no education other than his father’s personal instruction when he was a child. Until he grew up, network technology began to develop, he relied on the network to learn new knowledge, and even tried to find various information to treat his rare disease, not to give up easily.
However, due to his physical condition is really not able to work, coupled with a variety of living and medical expenses are also very huge, and his uncle is also old and gradually weak, so he is also worried and helpless.All of these kinds of problems are really difficult for him. Finally, he asked to Hero Medical & Charity Society (HMCS) for help and we are hereby commissioned to organise donation activity from the public for the following expenses:-
✅ Acupuncture Expenses (RM320/month) ：
RM320 x 6 = RM1920
✅ Medical Expenses (Nursing / Lift Car Delivery)
RM2120 x 6 = RM12720
✅ Living Expenses (RM600/month)
RM600 x 6 = RM3600
