【 Single Father Can’t Afford His Son’s Surgery And Ask Help From The Public 】

Mr Chan Chee Keong (52 years old, hawker)
A single father from Selayang, Mr. Chan Chee Keong has a 14-year-old son ( Chan Hon Yi ). In June, his son unfortunately had a car accident in Seremban and injured his right shoulder bone, and his right foot has been severely broken.Due to the burden of surgical costs and living expenses, he really doesn’t have the ability to face everything now and only can hope that the public can help his son.
Mr. Chan works as a hawker and usually has a meagre income. In addition to the need to care for his son, there is also an elderly father to take care of. He originally had a wife who is Hon Yi’s own mother. However, because his wife didn’t want to give up her future life, she left them. Therefore, over the years, Mr. Chan not only had to work to earn money to support his family, but also needed to take care of his son from childhood to adulthood.
On the car accident day, his son, the daughter of Mr Chan’s friend and the family went to Seremban to visit friends. Unfortunately, there was a car accident on the way and everyone was injured. Mr Chan’s son was especially seriously injured among them. After the doctor’s diagnosis, the son’s right leg bone has begun to move and need to perform a surgery to insert an iron plate to consolidate the leg bone. The surgery’s expenses cost RM2000, and must be implemented as soon as possible, otherwise the bone will be more serious, to the end may need to cut the foot.
Mr. Chan also revealed that his usual work income can only allow them to barely live, and there is no extra financial ability to solve the unexpected costs like this time. He recently defaulted on his landlord’s rental, and also can’t afford the living expenses for his son and father. All of this kinds of problems are really difficult for him. Finally, he asked to Hero Medical & Charity Society (HMCS) for help and we are hereby commissioned to organise donation activity from the public for the following expenses:-

【单亲爸爸无法负担儿子手术费用，无助祈求大众帮助】

陈志强先生 (52岁, 小贩)
来自士拉央的单亲爸爸 — 陈志强先生拥有一名年仅14岁的儿子（陈汉镒）。儿子在今年6月份的时候不幸在芙蓉发生了车祸，导致撞伤右肩骨，右脚也已经严重折断了。由于手术费用和生活开销负荷不来，平时身兼母职的他如今真的没有能力负荷一切，只能盼望大众帮助他的孩子顺利执行手术，好让他的儿子早日康复。
陈先生是一位尽责的父亲，他本身也是一名小贩，平时收入微薄。除了要工作养大儿子之外，家里还有一位老父亲需要照顾。他原本有一位妻子，也就是汉镒的亲生妈妈。可是在大约10年前，因为他妻子不想再为了孩子放弃自己的未来，于是选择离婚并离开了他们。因此多年以来，陈先生不但要工作赚钱养家，更需要兼任母亲的责任，把唯一的儿子从小照顾到大。
车祸事发当天，儿子原本是和陈先生朋友的女儿及友人一起去芙蓉探访朋友，可是不幸在路途中发生了车祸，因此大家都不幸受了伤，而陈先生的儿子更是伤势比较严重，甚至还差点擦伤了眼睛。经过医生的诊断后，儿子的右腿骨头已经严重折断和开始走位，需要执行一个镶入铁片巩固腿骨的手术，而这个手术开销需要RM2000，并且一定要尽快执行，否则骨头会更加走位严重，导致最后可能会到需要锯脚的地步。
陈先生在我们家访时也透露，他平时的工作收入仅仅只能让他们勉强过日子，并没有多余的经济能力解决这一次的意外费用。他最近更是欠缴房东的租金，而且孩子和父亲这个月的生活开销也是负担不起。因此，在经济压力极大的情况下，他唯有委托我们英雄医疗慈善协会Hero Medical Charity Society (HMCS) 向大众招募以下费用：-
儿子手术费用：RM2000
房子租金 (RM350/月)RM350 x 6 = RM2100
生活开销 (RM800/月)RM800 x 6 = RM4800
