【Lady’s health deteriorated after accident at work and she urgent with surgery’s fee】

Ms Lam Ah Lan (41 years old, single lady, unemployed)
Background of the case:
Lam Ah Lan who comes from Rawang was originally a healthy and ordinary lady. Earlier, she was a worker in chinese kopitiam. Like other employees, she works hard to ensure a more secure future for herself and family. However, she accidentally slipped and fall in the kopitiam one day. Because of the severe impact on her lower back and spine, she was never able to walk normally again. Later, she underwent surgery at the government hospital and had a plate inserted surgery in the lumbar disc.
After the surgery, her feet were still weak and she could not even walk the distance from room to living room. Furthermore, she was unable to receive any compensation for work-related injuries, and her employer did not provide her with any medical benefits or other financial assistance, only to eventually resign her. Since then, she has been officially unemployed, unable to work until now. Her health also became worse, and began to suffer from three-hypers and heart problems.
Miss Lam comes from an ordinary family and currently lives with her brother and mother. Her mother was a mentally retarded 72-year-old diabetic whose skin had deteriorated because of her diabetes. The elder brother is a day labor who suffering from asthma. Due to often to work on the run, his health and economic situation is extremely unstable.
Some time ago, she often had dull pains in her stomach, but strangely, not ordinary diarrhea. Thus, she went to the hospital to check and only found that her uterus had been born a blood tumor, and need to be excised. However, she simply cannot afford the surgery. Finally, she asked to Hero Medical & Charity Society (HMCS) for help and we are hereby commissioned to organize donation activity from the public for the following expenses:-
1）Surgery Expenses
RM12000
2）Utilites Expenses (RM200/month)
RM200 x 6 = RM1200
3）Meal Expenses (RM800/month)
RM800 x 6 = RM4800
Total：RM18000

个案背景：
来自万挠的林阿莲原本是一位身体健康，无病无痛的平凡女子。大约6年前，她是一位茶餐室员工。她和其他打工族一样，为了让自己和家人未来可以有更安稳的生活而不断努力工作。然而世事难料，在一次忙碌的工作日常中，她不小心在茶餐室里滑倒了。因为腰部和脊椎受到严重的撞击，她从此以后再也无法正常行走，直到现在。后来，她在中央医院开了刀，并在腰盘部位进行了钢板植入手术。
手术过后，她的双脚依然软弱无力，甚至从房间到客厅的距离都没有办法走出来。然而更无奈的是，她却无法得到任何工伤意外的赔偿，雇主也没替她提供任何的医疗津贴和其他经济方面的帮助，只是在后来不了了之地把她辞退了。从此以后，她也正式地成为一位无法工作的失业人士，直到现在。也因为这一连串的悲伤事情，她的身体状况越来越不好，开始患上了三高和心脏疾病等等。
林小姐她本身来自一个小康之家，目前和哥哥与母亲住在一起。母亲是一名失智的72岁糖尿病患者，因为患了糖尿病导致她的皮肤已经发烂了。哥哥则是一名散工，本身患有哮喘，因为经常为了工作奔波，所以健康和经济状况都极其不稳定。
在前段日子，林小姐她开始经常肚子隐隐作痛，但奇怪的是并非一般的泻肚子疼痛。于是，她去医院检查，才得知原来她的子宫部位已经生了一个血瘤，需要执行切除手术。然而，对于现阶段的她来说，她根本没有能力负担这笔手术的费用。最终，她唯有委托我们英雄医疗慈善协会Hero Medical & Charity Society ( HMCS )向大众筹募以下费用及物资： –
1）手术费
RM12000
2）水电费 (RM200/月)
RM200 x 6 = RM1200
3）伙食费 (RM800/月)
RM800 x 6 = RM4800
总共：RM18000
