[ The Filial Daughter Is Lack Of Ability To Take Care Of Her Stroke Mother ]
Filial piety is the most important of moral lesson. However, in today’s tough economy, it’s hard to being a responsible child to take care of a seriously ill parent. Lee Kah Yan, a 25 years old daughter also facing this type of hard issue.
Kah Yan works as a secondary school teacher, and also a married woman with a young daughter. Besides that, She also has a 55-year-old mother (Hoo Yeong Huey) who had a stroke 10 years ago who needs her care. Her mother suffered from anemia, high blood pressure and diabetes due to years of malnutrition and erratic eating and drinking. Ten years ago, her mother was suffered by stroke and it cause her can only walk on one side of her body, resulting in poor foot position and damaged and inflamed knee cartilage, forming rheumatoid arthritis. Currently, her mother cannot sit, stand and walk. She needs an armchair to sit back and all of these symptoms is considered as paralysis situation. Her posterior and lower dorsal thigh rotted into a large bone hole and it still never recovered.
Recently, her mother’s illness worsened and totally lost the ability to take care of herself. Due to the busy of work, Kah Yan had no choice but to send her mother to a nursing home that required payment.
However, with the huge cost of medical care and various medical expenses, Kah Yan gradually unable to bear the financial burden of caring for her mother. Hence, she entrusted Hero Medical Charity Society (HMCS) to raise funds from the public for the following expenses: –
– Nursing Expenses (RM 1400/month)
RM 1400 x 6 = RM 8,400
– Medical Expenses (RM 480/month)
RM 480 x 6 = RM 2,880
– Diapers (RM 200/month)
RM200 x 6 = RM 1,200
The total expenses for half year is RM12,480.

【孝顺女儿能力不足，照顾不了中风母亲】
百善以孝为先，然而在今时今日经济不景气的条件下，想尽一份身为孩子的责任照顾自己患重病的父母并非一件易事，而25岁的嘉欣同样也是如此。
嘉欣是一名中学老师，同时也是育有一位小女儿的已婚女士。此外，她还有一位十年前中了风的55岁母亲（贺咏慧）需要她的照顾。她的母亲因为常年营养不良并且吃喝不定，导致贫血，血压高以及糖尿病。十年前母亲中了风过后只能半边身行走造成脚姿势不对，膝盖软骨受损发炎，右脚膝盖肿大如象，形成风湿关节炎。如今，她的母亲不能坐与站，更不能行走，需要扶椅才能靠背坐，已经属于身体瘫痪状态。她的后下背面股部烂成大骨洞也未成复原。
近期，她的母亲病况雪上加霜，病倒不起，完全丧失了自理能力。因为工作的繁忙，在没办法亲自照顾的情况下，唯有把母亲送进需要付费的养老院定住。然而，在巨大的医疗护理费用以及各种药物开销的情况下，孝顺的她也逐渐无法负荷照顾妈妈的经济负担。因此，她唯有委托我们 英雄医疗慈善协会（HMCS) 向大众筹募以下开销：-
– 护工费用（RM 1400/月）
RM 1400 x 6 = RM 8,400
– 药物费用 （RM 480/月）
RM 480 x 6 = RM 2,880
– 纸尿片（RM 200/月）
RM200 x 6 = RM 1,200
半年的开销一共是 RM12,480。
