Mr Ng Kok Meng (65 years old, stroke patient) Ms Lee Swee Lin (68 years old, Mr. Ng’s wife)Mr Ng Kok Meng was originally a healthy middle-aged man. Unfortunately, a few years ago, he suffered a mild stroke. At that time, he was already 59 years old, and his body had started showing signs of warning. However, because the symptoms were mild and he started taking medication, his daily life remained under control and did not cause significant issues.
Recently, Mr Ng suddenly felt very unwell shortly after getting up. While he was taking a shower, his hands and feet suddenly felt stiff and uncontrollable, and he accidentally slipped and fell. Hearing the noise from the bathroom, his wife quickly went to check and found that her husband was very rigid, unable to move his limbs. She immediately called an ambulance to take him to the hospital. After diagnosis, it was confirmed that he had suffered a more severe stroke. Now, Mr Ng is resting at home under the care of his wife.
Since husband is currently unable to move, Ms Lee needs to spend more on special expenses to care for him, such as the cost of a caregiver for bathing, acupuncture treatments, transportation fees, and more. Over time, their savings have gradually been depleted. Originally from a poor family, they now can’t even afford the electricity bill and still owe a significant amount of unpaid electricity charges. With no other options left, they finally decided to entrust us to raise the following expenses from the public: –

吴国明（65岁，中风患者） 李瑞莲（68岁，吴先生妻子）吴国明先生，原是一位身体健康正常的中年男子。无奈的是，几年前的他曾经患上了轻微的中风。当时候的他已经59岁了，身体已经开始有亮红灯的征兆，然而因为只是轻微症状的关系，加上后来有吃药控制病情，所以日常生活还在控制范围内，没造成多大问题。
然而不幸的是，在去年年尾的某天，吴先生刚起床不久后，身体感到十分不适。在洗澡的过程中，他的手脚突然感觉被卡住了，无法控制，并且不小心滑倒。妻子听到浴室里的动静后赶紧过来查看，发现丈夫十分僵硬，四肢都无法动弹，于是赶紧呼叫救护车送去医院。后来经过诊断后，他被证实患上了更严重的脑中风。如今，吴先生在家接受着休养和妻子的照顾。
自从丈夫吴先生全身瘫痪后，妻子李瑞莲女士的负担就越来越重。因为丈夫目前无法移动的原因，所以她需要花更多的特殊开销去照顾丈夫，比如工人洗澡费、针灸费、交通费等等。日子久了，家里的积蓄逐渐被消耗。本来家境就十分清寒的他们如今连电费都还不起，甚至还欠一大笔的电费未还。因此，在毫无办法的压力下，李女士最终唯有委托我们向大众招募以下费用：-
冲凉费用 （RM1500/月）RM1500 x 3 = RM4500
针灸费用 （RM480/月）RM480 x 3 = RM1440
交通费用 （RM720/月）RM720 x 3 = RM2160
奶粉和尿片 （RM1200/月）RM1200 x 3 = RM3600
