Case 1018 - Julie Lium

Ms. Julie is a 55-year-old unemployed person. She has been unable to work due to her illness and can only rely on her meager savings to survive the remaining difficult days. She is currently in a single-parent family, but she has a son and a daughter. Unfortunately when her children grow up and start to have their own family, she gets abandoned by the children, and did not contact with them for a long time.

Her husband also divorced her early since their child was very young.

Her previous job is working in pasar malam. She thought that she could spend her retirement life slowly by setting up a stall by herself, but unfortunately she lost her job three years ago when the MCO began. What was even worse was that she was in the MCO. During this period, she entered the hospital for three years. She have undergone kidney dialysis, and now she’s in the fifth stage of dialysis. As a result, fate made a joke with her. Now she needs a sum of money for surgery. The operation has been postponed from last year to the present. Due to economic pressure, there is no other way but to delay it again and again. In addition, due to her difficulty in walking, she can only study hard at home against the wall every day, and practice cycling. Fortunately, a friend borrowed a wheelchair for her, which made her much more convenient for the time being.

Ms. Julie suffers from hereditary diabetes and her feet are inflamed. Fortunately, her younger sister doesn’t mind her living in her home, and her younger sister has not yet finish up the whole rental yet, but she still chooses to let Ms. Julie live. She knows that she can’t because of her illness, she has not worked for a long time but she’s embarrassed to live in her sister’s house and without paying so she decided to just pay the monthly utility bills for RM100+. Now that the price of goods continues to rise, she gradually cannot afford even the most basic medical expenses and kidney dialysis surgery fee…

I implore all kind-hearted people to give generously to Ms.Julie to help her get through the difficulties as soon as possible.

In order to be able to undergo kidney dialysis surgery, Julie has been troubled by a fee for a long time. In the case of exhausted savings and unemployment, she still needs to face kidney dialysis surgery on her hands and neck. These costs are undoubtedly worse for her. The Hero Medical & Charity Society ( HMCS ) is hereby commissioned to raise funds from the public for the following expenses:-

Surgery fee (RM 6,000/time)

RM 6,000 (one time)

Medical expenses (RM 730/month)

RM 730 x 3 = RM 2,190

Dialysis fee (RM 200/time)

RM 200 x 3 = 600

Total – RM 8,790

林女士是一名无业者 今年55岁 ，因身上疾病导致至今都无法工作 只能依靠着微薄的存款来过剩余艰难的日子。她目前处于单亲家庭，拥有一儿一女的她，当孩子长大开始有了自己的家庭以后并且遭到孩子的抛弃，早已没有了联络。在孩子很小的时候，丈夫也早早和她离婚了。

她之前的工作是在夜市摆摊 本来以为人生能靠着自己摆摊而慢慢的度过养老，却不幸在三年前的MCO开始就已经失去了工作，更惨的是她在MCO的的期间进院长达三年之久。曾经洗过肾，现在已经是第五期的洗肾了。结果命运和她开了个玩笑 如今需要一笔的手术费用才能进行手术。手术已经从去年拖到至今无法实行 因为经济压力所以没办法之下只好一而再，再而三的延迟。此外，她行走不便的原因导致如今的她唯有每日努力在家靠墙复习，练习脚车，好在朋友帮她借了轮椅，让她暂时方便了许多。

林女士患有家族遗传糖尿病 导致双脚发炎，好在妹妹也不介意她居住在她的家，而妹妹自己的租金也还没负担完毕但还是选择了让她居住，她了解自己不能够因为自己的病情长期不工作也因为她不好意思长居在妹妹的家并且都会帮助缴付每个月的水电费RM100+。现在的物价持续增长，她也逐渐的连最基本的医药和手术费用也负担不起了…
