李锦梁先生 (62岁, 三高、糖尿病、心脏疾病以及肾病患者)
洗肾，对于病者或家属来说是一个极其沉重的负担。除了经济上，病患在肉体和心灵上也是备受折磨。如今，按照现有大马政府医院的条件，仅有少数肾病患者可在政府医院接受血液透析治疗，而大部分的患者依然必须到私人洗肾中心或非政府组织的洗肾中心进行洗肾。62岁的李锦梁先生亦是如此。
李先生是一位身体健康不乐观的患者。在大约50几岁的时候，他的身体每况愈下，经常出入医院。当时候的他经常头晕，呼吸困难，根本没有办法好好工作。后来，他的心脏甚至没有力气跳动，极度辛苦。此外，他的肾脏也损坏至仅剩10%，需要长期进行洗肾。而遭受病痛折磨的这些日子里，由于他单身多年并且没有妻子和任何的孩子照顾，因此长期以来他也偶尔只是靠同样上了年纪的姐姐帮忙照顾而已。
在2021年的年中，李先生的病情恶化，患上了严重的糖尿病并且需要切除右脚保住生命。当时候的他失去右脚后，一度感到沮丧崩溃，根本没有办法接受这个事实。所幸的是，坚强的他后来也自知不能再悲伤下去，于是开始积极学习如何使用轮椅，尽可能把自己的行动能力变得更灵活，努力地活下去。
然而，由于李先生本身有心脏、肾病等等的健康问题，行动能力也依然不便，万物价格又统统都涨价，加上失去了工作能力，因此他渐渐开始无法负担自己的生活和医疗开销。如今，他的积蓄也所剩无几，面对重重困难的他无比感到担忧和无助。最终，在毫无办法的情况下，他唯有委托我们英雄医疗慈善协会Hero Medical Charity Society (HMCS) 向大众招募以下费用：-
✅ 洗肾费用 (RM2520/月)
RM2520 x 3 = RM7560
✅ 交通费用 (RM300/月)
RM300 x 3 = RM900
✅ 生活开销 (RM1000/月)
RM1000 x 3 = RM3000

【Old man urgently needs funds for kidney dialysis and ask for public’s help】

Mr Lee Kum Leong (62 y/o, a patient with hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease)
Kidney dialysis is an overwhelming burden for patients and families, causing physical and emotional agony. In Malaysia,under the conditions of existing government hospitals, few can access government hospital treatment, leading most to private or NGO-run centers. This holds true for 62-year-old Mr. Lee Kum Leong.
Mr. Lee is a patient with poor health. In his late 50s, his health deteriorated and he was often in and out of hospital. He was often dizzy, had trouble breathing, and couldn’t work well. Later, his heart even had no strength to beat. In addition, his kidneys were damaged to only 10%, requiring long-term kidney washing. As he has been single for many years and has no wife or children to care for him, he has long relied only occasionally on the help of his elder sister.
In the middle of 2021, Mr Lee’s condition deteriorated. He needed to cut the right leg to save his life due to diabetes. When he lost his right foot, he was depressed and unable to accept the fact. Fortunately, he later realized that he could not grieve any longer, so he began to actively learn how to use a wheelchair, and tried to make his mobility more flexible as much as possible.
However, because Mr. Lee himself has a lot of health problems, mobility is still inconvenient, and lost the ability to work, so he gradually began to be unable to afford his own living and medical expenses. Now, with little of his savings left, he feels worried and helpless. Finally, he asked to Hero Medical & Charity Society (HMCS) for help and we are hereby commissioned to organise donation activity from the public for the following expenses:-
✅ Kidney Dialysis Expenses (RM2520/month)
RM2520 x 3 = RM7560
✅ Transport Expenses (RM300/month)
RM300 x 3 = RM900
✅ Living Expenses (RM1000/month)
RM1000 x 3 = RM3000
